Earth Systems ecology lab

Determining how climate change will influence disturbance patterns and species distribution is paramount for informing policies and management that will help ensure the continued existence of intact, fully functioning forest systems.  Our research at the University of New Mexico uses field studies and modeling to understand how forests will respond to changing climate and disturbance.
